The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and Communication Sciences is dedicated to providing expert clinical care in Otology/Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery, Head and Neck Cancer Treatment, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Hearing impairment, Laryngologic Surgery, and Pediatric Otolaryngology. The department offers specialized care in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the head and neck region. The department has centres of excellence that deal with specific diseases and therapies such as skull base surgery, head and neck tumor surgery, cochlear implant surgery, airway reconstructive surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, otology-neurotology, speech and language pathology, audiology and aural rehabilitation.
The department provides state-of-the-art technology, such as CO2 Laser, Operating Microscope with navigation systems, and Audiovisual with 3 dimensional video systems. It has fully equipped Temporal Bone Lab and Classroom as well as ORL Library.
