Reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs at our client hospital, the successful candidate:
- Provides legal opinion and advises as required by Director, Legal Affairs.
- Provides advice on preparing, drafting and/or negotiating contracts within or outside the Kingdom as required and to assure concurrence with Saudi rules and regulations.
- Drafts Hospital By-Laws and participates in committee relating to the same.
- Interprets Hospital Medical By-Laws, Employee Relations Manual (ERM) and any other legal documents as required.
- Renders legal opinion in matters relating to Personnel as required.
- Participate in investigation & disciplinary committees.
- Review patients' complaints and participate in investigation committees involving patients and malpractice cases.
- Drafts & reviews contracts to assure their concurrence with rules and regulations of the Kingdom.
- Participates and assists in formulating and drafting rules and policies of all Hospital activities.
- Represents the Hospital before courts and other government bodies as assigned.
- Represents the Hospital in legal matters that may be conducted inside the Kingdom as required.
- Participates in conducting legal studies, researches and recommends appropriate course of action. To enhance the Legal System in the Hospital.
- Provides legal opinion in legal questions raised by employees and Hospital departments.
- Participates in committees in matters involving legal problems as required.
- Follows all Hospital policies and procedures.
- Participates in self and other education, training & development as applicable.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, and
- Current law license from North America, Western Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and
- 12 years of professional experience with the Bachelor's degree, or 8 years with the Master's degree in the field of labor law, personnel affairs & contracts, and
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred, and
- Bilingual (Arabic/English) capability is preferred
